Robson Shadows Campground is located 5 km west of Mount Robson Provincial Park on Yellowhead Highway 16. This beautiful park is situated within the North Continental Range of the Canadian Rockies, with its characteristic rugged peaks, pristine glacial lakes and rivers, and steep forested valleys. The park’s most famous peak is Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, towering 3,954 metres over the western entrance to the park. The campground is just 1 hour west of Jasper National Park. It contains individual riverside sites as well as our group site. The group site is situated in a large grassy meadow and has 3 different areas enabling multiple groups to stay at the same time. A variety of services are available in Mount Robson Provincial Park near the Visitor Information Centre, which is a 5 minute drive from our campground. These include gas, food, souvenirs, meals, and recreational opportunities. Daily river rafting trips are offered from the campground’s shoreline, and there are further visitor facilities and recreational opportunities in the nearby communities of Jasper, Tête Jaune Cache, Valemount, and McBride.
