Family Businesses in the Valley

Mount Robson Lodge is a family business founded in 1978 by the Cinnamon family.  In 1978, Paul and Gloria Cinnamon purchased 100 acres of land beside the Fraser River, near Mount Robson Provincial Park. Within a year they had moved from the Okanagan Valley to the Robson Valley, and started building a campground while raising their family of 3 young children.

Mount Robson Lodge is located very close to Mount Robson Provincial Park and features the best views of Mount Robson in the valley.

After 40 years, Mount Robson Lodge has continued to remain family owned and operated, and has grown to include cozy guest cabins, a coffee shop, and daily guided river rafting adventures.

We are open from mid-May to mid-October.  We hope you enjoy your stay with us.

In addition to Mount Robson Lodge, we also operate Mount Robson Whitewater Rafting located right at the river front and Cariboo Cat Skiing companies.

We welcome you to explore both.

We stayed here for one night with the best view you could ask for. The cabin is basic and thats what is great about it. Its just a stand up shower, small kitchen. No cell service or wifi! True wilderness experience.

My boyfriend and I stayed in cabin #2 on Aug 26, 2018. I loved the cabin! It was very clean and cozy! Had a kitchenette and bathroom with shower and the bed I believe was a double. There was no tv or wi-fi but to be honest I prefer it that way! The only thing for light sleepers is that it is located close to the highway so we could hear the traffic but I just wore some earplugs and had a good sleep (believe there is cabin 3 which is farther away from highway so try to get that one if you think highway will be too noisy!) Ask for coffee or tea when you check in if you want it in your cabin otherwise you can get a cup in the a.m. but if you leave early then they are not open yet. Overall had a wonderful stay and would definitely go back!

Five of us shared a cabin, and had a great time both lazing around the site, and taking short excursions from there (the rafting/drifting is highly recommended, and can be arranged by the office). Staff are friendly and accommodating, the river a five minute walk away, and the views of Mount Robson (when the weather cooperates) are amazing. The cabins have pots, pans, plates, fridge etc and are equipped for basic self catering - which is good as the nearest restaurant is 7km away, and the nearest town 20km. There is also a gas BBQ available for use, for a real taste of the outdoors! Note that there is zero wi-fi, cell, or any other connectivity (there is a pay phone) so come prepared to be off the grid!

My friends and I come here every year and we love it. The owners are super nice, the facilities are great and the scenery is unparalleled.
They have warm showers and flush toilets. Also they run white water rafting tours right out of the site.
Plenty of fishing nearby and a secret beach half a kilometre away down a hiking trail.
Book early to get a site on the Fraser River.

The cabins are clean and small we had a bachelor cabin. It had a little kitchenette and double bed with a fouton. There is no tv and no service in the area so be prepared for that if you have kids with devices. We had a fire ban when we went but propane fires were allowed. Gas station at the visitor centre again no service In The area at all. At night the closest store is in valemount which is a 25 min drive. Very cute town. The mount robson is huge and beautiful. Water rafting is offered at the cabins. No complimentary breakfast so be prepared.

Went for the rafting and had a wonderful time. The host of the cabins was a really sweet man and so was his staff > We had such a pleasant time that we opted to stay for two nights and go to Jasper for the day:) Cabins were really clean and the view of Mount Robson wonderful !!

We stayed as part of a quick mountain trip last summer. Our cabin was well equipped and very clean. The staff were wonderful and helpful to the point of providing coffee from their personal pot in the morning when the guest coffee was not yet ready. We walked through the property and along the Fraser River and admired the wonderful scenery. An interesting feature was at the main office area. All around the building they had Humming Bird Feeders. We had never seen so many hummingbirds at one place before. The owner said that she had to refill the feeders sometimes 3-times a day in order to keep up with the birds.
